Many companies responding to COVID have found that their organizations are operating far leaner, meaner and faster than ever before, now that their entire workforce is working from home. Most of my clients are seeing an increase in productivity that is a step-change, not an incremental one. This has led many business leaders to rethink the limits and capacities of their organizations, and realize that maybe there was far more room for improvement than our Lean, Kaizen, Agile masters were telling us. To learn from the lockdown, Roller CTOs would do well to challenge their organizations to produce disruptive results in cycle time reduction and productivity, and give them contextual data to allow them to do so. Successful Rollers will take what they’ve got, redistribute it more effectively, using context, and will generate disruptively-better results
